Harmony Kendall

Harmony Kendall is a fictional character in the television shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, played by Mercedes McNab.
Harmony Kendall first appeared in season one's "The Harvest" as a part of Cordelia Chase's clique. Making minor appearances throughout season one, she shunned Cordelia from their clique when Cordelia began dating Xander Harris. Harmony became the new leader of their group.
In season three's "Graduation Day", Harmony was killed by a vampire, and became a vampire herself, as learned in season four's "The Harsh Light of Day", where she was the girlfriend of Spike. She eventually broke up with him due to his infatuation with Buffy, and disappeared. Despite her conversion to vampirism, she retained the pettiness characteristic of spoiled teenage girls, and a juvenile affinity for unicorn figurines. After returning and forming her own gang failed in season five's "Real Me", Harmony got back together with Spike. Harmony left Spike when she learned he was in love with Buffy and when Drusilla returned. This was in her final appearance on Buffy, season five's "Crush".
However, this was not Harmony's final appearance, as she moved to the spinoff Angel. On Angel, in season two's "Disharmony", Harmony returned to reunite with Cordelia, not telling her she was a vampire, causing a little bit of trouble. In season five's "Conviction", Harmony became a recurring character as Angel's new secretary, and as his employee ends up giving the whole "not drinking human blood" thing a try.
Harmony is brought in to the Fang Gang mix, undoubtly to fill the gap left by Charisma Carpenter's "Cordelia" in many ways Harmony is a reflection of a season 1 Cordelia.
Harmony became a member of the cast starting with season five's "Underneath".
Although Harmony does demonstrate some loyalty and protectiveness toward the gang, her demonic nature ultimately wins out and in the series finale she betrays Angel by sleeping with Marcus Hamilton (the Senior Partner's new liason) and tells him Angel's plans.
Angel already knew Harmony would someday betray him, so he gave her false information. He fires her from Wolfram and Hart anyway, but honorably writes a good recommendation for her. Just as Angel and Hamilton are about to have their final fight, Harmony awkwardly wishes both of them luck before she leaves.
