Hammond is a village located in Piatt County, Illinois. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 518.

Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 518 people, 225 households, and 141 families residing in the village. The population density is 263.2/km² (679.8/mi²). There are 244 housing units at an average density of 124.0/km² (320.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 98.26% White, 0.58% African American, 0.19% Native American, 0.19% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.58% from other races, and 0.19% from two or more races. 0.19% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
