HMS Achilles

Several ships of the Royal Navy have been named HMS Achilles, after the Greek hero Achilles.
- Achilles was originally the French ship Annibal launched in 1778, renamed Achille in 1786, and captured at the Glorious First of June.
- Achilles, launched in 1863, was a broadside ironclad frigate. Displacement 9820 tons and had an armament of 20 guns.
- Achilles, launched in 1932, was a Leander-class light cruiser. She was transferred to the RNZN, she was returned at the end of World War II and recommissioned as Delhi before being was sold in the 1948 to India and commissioned as INS Delhi.
- Achillies, launched in 1968, was a Leander-class frigate.
