HMAS Bundaberg (J-231/M-231), named for the city of Bundaberg, Queensland, was a Bathurst class corvette built by Evans Deakin and Company at Brisbane in Queensland, launched on 1 December 1941 by Mrs. W. S. Hurwood, wife of the Director of Evans Deakin, and commissioned on 12 September 1942. HMAS Bundaberg paid off to reserve on 26 March 1946 and sold for scrap to the Kinoshita Company of Japan on 6 January 1961.
It was announced in 1980 that a Fremantle class patrol boat was to be named Bundaberg but the vessel was never ordered.
