Got Milk?

Got Milk? is a highly successful U.S. advertising campaign encouraging the purchase of fluid cow's milk which was created by the agency Goodby Silverstein & Partners for for the California Milk Board in 1993 and later licensed for use by milk processors (the Milk Processor Education Program) and dairy farmers (Dairy Management Inc.). It has been running since 1994.
It is used as the tagline for the successful Milk Mustache Campaign. This long running series of print ads feature a variety of celebrities and fictional characters sporting their own "milk mustache".
Unfortunately, there was a bit of a stir when the Dairy Association tried to translate this slogan for the Latino and Mexican community: the slogan, translated back into English from Spanish, read "Are you lactating?"
