Give Up is The Postal Service's critically acclaimed debut album. The album was released on February 18, 2003 on Sub Pop Records. The album is only the second Sub Pop Records release album to receive a gold record status. The first Sub Pop gold album was Nirvana's Bleach. The most notable single in Give Up is "Such Great Heights" which has been used by various North American television commercials.
The third single release, "We Will Become Silhouettes" music video was directed by Napoleon Dynamite movie writer and director, Jared Hess.
