George Ives

George Frederick Ives (November 17, 1881 - April 12, 1993) was the last surviving veteran of the Boer War. Born in England, he fought for the British in the 1902 Boer war in South Africa. He later migrated to Canada, where he passed away in April 1993 at the age of 111.
