Fry's Food & Drug Stores is a grocery store chain that has huge presence in the state of Arizona. Also, Fry's operates under the banner of FRY'S MARKETPLACE. Fred Meyer locations were renamed to FRY'S MARKETPLACE shortly after Fred Meyer merged with Kroger. Fry's Food & Drug Stores has its central offices in Tolleson, Arizona outside of Phoenix. Fry's and FRY'S MARKETPLACE is owned and operate ("O&O") by the grocery giant, Kroger. The Smith's Food and Drug Centers in the following cities did not change to Fry's: Kingman, Bullhead City, and Lake Havasu.
FRY'S directly competes with Bashas', Food City, AJ's Fine Foods, and Safeway here in the state of Arizona.
There are no FRY'S or FRY'S MARKETPLACE locations outside the state of Arizona.
