Francis David Ormsby-Gore, 6th Baron Harlech

David Ormsby-Gore, 6th Baron Harlech (Born 13 March 1954) is a peer in the United Kingdom.
He succeeded his father, William Ormsby-Gore, as Baron Harlech in 1985. He sat as a Conservative member of the House of Lords until the removal of the hereditary peers in 1999.
Until recently, Ormsby-Gore lived in Brogyntyn Hall near Oswestry. He is married to Amanda Jane, née Grieve. They have a son and a daughter. In 2001, he was sentenced to 100 hours community service after being convicted of his second drink-driving offence in seven years. He has also had a hard drug problem.
