Fingerless gloves

Fingerless gloves are garments worn on the hands which resemble regulation gloves in most ways, except that the finger columns are half-length and opened, allowing the tops of the wearer's fingers to emerge through.
These gloves are usually woollen and were popular in the early 1980s, with pop star Nik Kershaw a known public advocate.
