Fetch can mean in various contexts:
- In geography fetch is a term for the length of water over which a given wind has blown.
- Fetch is a game played between a human and a pet in which the human throws an object for the pet to catch and/or retrieve.
- In Computer architecture, fetch is also a pipeline stage of a processor. It fetches instructions from a memory or cache and feeds them to the rest of the pipeline.
- In software Fetch is a FTP client for Mac OS X made by Fetch Softworks.
- As in "Omigod, Gretchen, those sequined flats are so totally fetch." A slang term meaning "awesome" coined in the year 2004 by the movie Mean Girls. Presumably, a derivative of fetching.
