Fargo is a city located in Clinch County, Georgia. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 380. Formerly a town, it was incorporated by the Georgia state legislature in 1992, effective on April 1st of that year.

Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 380 people, 146 households, and 105 families residing in the city. The population density is 84.8/km² (220.3/mi²). There are 174 housing units at an average density of 38.8/km² (100.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 79.47% White, 18.95% African American, 1.32% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.26% from two or more races. 0.53% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 146 households out of which 30.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.2% are married couples living together, 11.6% have a female householder with no husband present, and 27.4% are non-families. 26.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 9.6% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.60 and the average family size is 3.16.
