Jerome Rouchouze, SS.CC. of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary served as vicar apostolic of the Apostolic Vicariate of Oriental Oceania, now called the Roman Catholic Diocese of Honolulu, from 1833 to 1843. As bishop of Honolulu, he secured the enlargement of the French missionary groups in the Hawaiian Islands. He was lost at sea.
