Ethan Allen Express

The Ethan Allen Express is a passenger train operated by Amtrak between New York City, New York and Rutland, Vermont. The 241-mile trip is currently completed in a scheduled 5.5 hours. Its operations are subsidized by the State of Vermont, and is popular among vacationers travelling to the ski resort area of Killington
The Ethan Allen Express is named for American Revolutionary War hero Ethan Allen.

According to Amtrak's spring-summer 2004 system timetable, daily train #294 left Rutland at 7:10am and made station stops at:

- Fort Edward/Glens Falls, New York at 8:29am
- Saratoga Springs at 8:52am

- Albany/Rensselaer at 9:50am
- Hudson at 10:25am
- Rhinecliff/Kingston at 10:46am
- Poughkeepsie at 11:01am
- Croton-Harmon at 11:38am
- Yonkers at 11:57am
- New York City's Pennsylvania Station at 12:25pm
