Esera Tuaolo

Esera Tavai Tuaolo (born July 11 1968 in Honolulu Hawaii) played professional football in the United States for nine years including a trip to the Super Bowl.
He grew up poor and his family were banana farmers. His father died when he was 10.
Nicknamed "Mr. Aloha", Tuaolo played nose tackle for several teams in his career, reaching the Superbowl while playing with the Atlanta Falcons.
In 2002 he came out as gay, becoming the third retired NFL player to do so. He currently lives with his life partner and their two children and is working to get the NFL to have domestic partner benefits.
