Edward Youde

Sir Edward Youde (June 19, 1924 - December 5, 1986) was a British administrator, diplomat and Sinologist. He served as Governor of Hong Kong between 1982 and 1986. He suffered a heart attack and died on December 4, 1986 during his visit in Beijing. He was the only Governor of Hong Kong who died in office.
