Eugene Clay Shaw Jr. (born April 19 1939), American politician, has been a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives since 1981, representing the 22nd District of Florida (map (http://nationalatlas.gov/printable/images/preview/congdist/fl22_109.gif)). He was born in Miami, Florida, was educated at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida and the University of Alabama, and was a lawyer, prosecutor, judge and city commissioner in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and mayor of Fort Lauderdale, Florida before entering the House.
