The Dust Brothers are the Los Angeles-based producers "E.Z. Mike" (Michael Simpson) and "King Gizmo" (John King), famous for their creation of sample-based music in the 1980s, and specifically for their work on the groundbreaking albums Paul's Boutique by the Beastie Boys and Odelay by Beck. They also composed the soundtrack to the film Fight Club.
John King recently worked on the recent Garbage album Bleed Like Me. His production work on 'Bad Boyfriend' made it on the album, but his work on tracks 'Space Can Come Through Anyone' and 'It's All Over But The Crying' were respectively relegated to B-side status and unreleased.
The name is also the original name used for a short time by The Chemical Brothers.
