Duracell is a leading alkaline batteries manufacturer. Duracell introduced many battery formats, including AA in 1960 and AAA in 1962. It merged with Gillette in 1996 and its main competitor is Energizer. Duracell batteries have special features, PowerCheck, where it becomes visible how much energy the battery has left. Coppertop batteries are used for the things people use most, and is a long lasting battery. There are also rechargeable batteries commonly used for digital cameras.
Duracell is advertised by its mascot, the Duracell Bunny.
