Digitizer

In telecommunication and computing, the term digitizer has the following meanings:
- A device that converts an analog signal into a digital representation of the analog signal.
- Note: A digitizer usually samples the analog signal at a constant sampling rate and encodes each sample into a numeric representation of the amplitude value of the sample.
- A device that converts the position of a point on a surface into digital coordinate data.
