The Dickinson School of Law is located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and is the law school of Pennsylvania State University. It abuts Dickinson College, a private four year liberal arts college. It was founded in 1890 and was a part of Dickinson College up until 1914, when it became completely independent. It remained so for over 80 years, until it became associated with Penn State University in 1997.
