Dharamsinh Desai Institute of Technology (DDIT) is an institute of higher learning in India. It was founded in 1968 by Dharamsinh Dadubhai Desai. Currently the vice-chancellor of the college is Dr H. M. Desai, who is an expert in Sanskrit and an important political figure in the Ahmedabad area.
DDIT imparts both bachelor and master level degrees in the fields of computer engineering, electronic engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, chemical engineering,[(information Technology)] and civil engineering. It was originally founded as a chemical engineering college and it is still recognised as one of the premier colleges teaching chemical engineering. The university also offers BE integrated MBA program and Master of Computer Application (MCA).
