Delcatty is a fictional character from the Pokémon franchise. It can obtained in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire by exposing Skitty to a Moon Stone. While Skitty is small and cute, Delcatty is tall and beautiful, much like Persian when compared to Meowth.
Name Origin
This Pokémon's name is a portmanteau of 'delicate', referring to its beautiful appearance, and 'cat', in the same nature that Skitty's name contains 'kitty' within it.
Pokédex definition
Ruby: "Delcatty prefers to live an unfettered existence in which it can do as it pleases at its own pace. Because this Pokémon eats and sleeps whenever it decides, its daily routines are completely random."

Currently, Delcatty's only had 2 appearances in the animé. First, it was owned by Casey in Pokémon Chronicles. And later, it was used in a Pokémon Contest.
