Dejan Bodiroga (Дејан Бодирога), born March 2, 1973 in Zrenjanin, Serbia and Montenegro, currently stars for the basketball section of FC Barcelona. Many basketball observers consider him, along with former Barça teammate Sarunas Jasikevicius, as one of the best players playing outside of the NBA.
Bodiroga was drafted by the Sacramento Kings in 1995 in the second round (overall #51). One year later, the Kings selected his countryman Peja Stojaković. However, unlike Stojaković, Bodiroga declined the offer to play in the NBA, choosing to remain in Europe.
On July 13, 2003, Bodiroga married his long time fiancée Ivana Medic in Belgrade's Serbian Orthodox Cathedral.
