Dead Can Dance is the initial album recorded by the Dead Can Dance duo, Lisa Gerrard and Brendan Perry, in 1984. This album differs greatly from later Dead Can Dance releases, particularly in terms of ethnic fusion. This album has been, at times, described as Punk rock and even Gothic. The track-listing is as follows:
- The Fatal Impact
- The Trial
- Frontier
- Fortune
- Ocean
- East of Eden
- Threshold
- A Passage in Time
- Wild in the Woods
- Musica Eternal
The following tracks were later added to the CD release of the album, in a section named Garden of the Arcane Delights:
- Carnival of Light
- In Power We Entrust the Love Advocated
- The Arcane
- Flowers of the Sea
