David Hartley (the Younger)

David Hartley (1731 - December 19, 1813) was a member of the House of Commons (1774–80, 1782–84), an inventor, and the son of the philosopher David Hartley. He was a signatory to the Treaty of Paris, which ended the American Revolutionary War.
He was born in Bath, Somerset, England and also died in Bath.
He was a radical English pamphleteer, and became a close friend of Benjamin Franklin.
