Damnation and a Day is an album by UK's black metal/gothic metal quintent Cradle of Filth. A full 40-piece orchestra and 32-piece choir, native to Budapest, Hungary, accompanies Cradle of Filth throughout the album. Damnation and a Day has been Cradle of Filth's longest album to date, reaching just over 77 minutes.
The album is loosely based on John Milton's epic poem Paradise Lost
