Daleville is a city located in Dale County, Alabama. As of the 2000 census, the population of the city is 4,653.
The city's nickname is "Gateway to Fort Rucker".

The racial makeup of the city is 64.20% White, 25.36% Black or African American, 0.75% Native American, 3.65% Asian, 0.21% Pacific Islander, 2.19% from other races, and 3.63% from two or more races. 3.93% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
