Curtis Martin

Curtis Martin (born May 1, 1973) is an American football running back for the NFL's New York Jets.
National Football League Career
Martin entered the NFL in 1995 (winning the offensive rookie of the year award) and played for three seasons with the New England Patriots, then signed with the New York Jets in 1998 as a free agent. He has run for over 1000 yards in each of his professional seasons, and won the NFL rushing title for the 2004 season with 1,697 yards (one more than runner-up Shaun Alexander). He also won the FedEx Ground Player of the Year in 2004.
