Cross-console emulation

Cross-console emulation involves using one video game console to emulate an older or less complicated console. Basically, the newer console takes the place of a computer, and runs the emulator software which plays the games. For example, one could emulate N64 games on an Xbox, given the right software. The Sega Dreamcast is often used as a tool for cross-console emulation.
