Corsola (Sanīgo in Japanese) is a fictional coral Pokémon. It was captured by Misty in Pokémon Master Quest episode "A Corsola Caper".
It was originated from the coral reefs.
In Gold/Silver/Crystal, you can fish for it. Corsola can be also fished in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, or traded for a Bellossom in Pacifidlog Town.
Name Origin
The name is probably a combination of the words "coral" and "solar". The origin of "-sola" is evident in the fact that Corsola is attracted to the sun, habitates in warm waters, and has a jewel on its head that reflects the sun's colors.
