Corixa is a biotechnology/pharmaceutical company based in Seattle, Washington involved in the development of immunotherapeutics to combat autoimmune diseases, infectious diseases, and cancer. Founded in 1994, its shares trade on the NASDAQ stock market under the ticker symbol CRXA. It operates a laboratory and production facility in Hamilton, Montana.
The name Corixa comes from the fly lure.
In May 2005, Corixa was acquired by European pharmaceuticals giant GlaxoSmithKline. GSK had formerly made use of Corixa's adjuvants.
