Cob has a number of meanings.
- Cob is a building material or type of house built from that material.
- CoB is a TLA that means "Close of Business"
- Cob is a type of loaf. It is a term generally used in the East Midlands area of the United Kingdom for a bap or sandwich roll.
- A Cob is any short-legged, stout variety of horse intended for heavy riders
- A Cob is a male swan (the female is a "pen")
- A Cob or cobbo is a small fish also called a miller's thumb
- The cob is the woody center of an ear of maize (corn), eg. corn on the cob.
- CoB is sometime used as a shortening for Finnish melodic death metal band Children of Bodom.
- Cob is the name for an object in Creatures 1 and 2. Creatures 3 (and Creatures Docking Station) use the term Agent instead.
