Chris Cunningham

Chris Cunningham is a British music video film director and video artist.
He started as a comic book artist for the UK weekly 2000 AD under the name Chris Halls.
His video work, "Flex" (containing original music by Aphex Twin) was exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts in London in 2000.
His video work also includes:

- "Only You" video for Portishead
- "Afrika Shox" video for Leftfield
- "Come On My Selector" video for Squarepusher
- "Frozen" video for Madonna
- "All is Full of Love" video for Björk
- "Come to Daddy", "Windowlicker" and "Monkey Drummer" videos for Aphex Twin
He has worked on special make-up effects for the movies Alien³, Alien: Resurrection and Judge Dredd and model making on Hardware and Nightbreed. He also worked for over a year on the film AI: Artificial Intelligence when it was a Stanley Kubrick project.
A short film, "Rubber Johnny" is due for limited release in May 2005.
Cunningham has plans to direct a film of Neuromancer by William Gibson but this project is currently in limbo.
