In the television series The Simpsons, the Carstairs family consists of Admiral Carstairs, Lady Carstairs and The Debutante.
Admiral Carstairs is a stiff and stern retired admiral, who wears a metal-laced naval uniform. Lady Carstairs is the wife of the Admiral and she wears a diamond tiara. She has the tendency to faint whenever she spots something not to her liking. The Debutante is the daughter of the Admiral and the Lady and is a short, plump woman who wears glasses and has a huge nose.
