Campina Grande

Campina Grande (population circa 400,000) is a city in northeastern Brazil. It is the second largest city of the Paraíba state and its main countryside city.
The main festival in Campina Grande is the so called Maior São João do Mundo. A whole month party in June.
The city is also well known as an important technology center in Brazil and it is home to the Federal University of Campina Grande, and other smaller private universities, which attract many students from other states.
