Caguas Tower
|
The Caguas Tower is an imposing 23-story building located in Caguas, Puerto Rico. In contrast to its neighbor, Bonneville Apartments, the Caguas Tower is a facility that caters to a more high-class clientele.
A very unknown detail about this building is that during it's construction it was never leveled properly and it is slightly leaned towards one side. Civil engineer Jorge Villarini was comissioned to build an angled feature in the top of the building so from far it would look perfectly straight.
The Caguas Tower building can be seen as far as 10 minutes away by car, which is a considerable distance. For some time, it had a sister building in Ponce, the Ponce Tower, but after a few years, the Ponce Tower was closed.
