Caernarfon Town F.C. is a football team, playing in the League of Wales.
The club was founded in 1876, and plays at The Oval, Marcus Street, Caernarfon, where their ground accommodates 3400 spectators (252 seated).
- The teams' first choice strip is yellow and green shirts, green shorts and yellow socks.
- The second choice strip is claret and light blue shirts, claret shorts and blue socks.
History
Caernarfon Town played in the (English) Lancashire Combination and the Northern Premier League in the 1980s and are remembered for a glorious FA Cup run in 1986/7, when they accounted for Stockport County and York City before losing to Barnsley.
In 1995 Caernarfon returned to Welsh football and a place in the League of Wales, but they were relegated in 1999-2000, before being re-promoted a year later.
