Indian Plaintain (Cacalia L.), is a genus of to a flowering plants in the sunflower family Asteraceae, occurring in the temperate climates of the northern hemisphere, mainly in Europe and Asia minor.
Most of the plants in this genus have also been reassigned to genera Emilia (Tasselflower), Arnoglossum, Cacaliopsis, Hasteola, Mikania, Parasenecio, Porophyllum, Psacalium and Rugelia.
