Brossard—La Prairie is the name of a federal electoral district in Quebec, Canada. Its population is 100,489. (2001)
Geography
The district includes the Cities of Candiac and La Prairie, the Municipality of Saint-Philippe, and the former City of Brossard.
History
The electoral district of La Prairie was created in 1966 from Beauharnois—Salaberry and Châteauguay—Huntingdon—La Prairie. The name was changed to Brossard—La Prairie in 1996.
