Brenta
|
The Brenta is an Italian river that runs from the Trento province to the Adriatic Sea in the Veneto region. It is 174 km (108 miles) long.
Brenta is also a range of the Southern Limestone Alps. See Brenta Group.
Both, river and mountains, are the original region where the ancestors of the Brentano Family came from who emigrated to Germany and produced a few famous writers and politicians there.
