Booderee National Park

de:Booderee-Nationalpark Booderee National Park is located in the Jervis Bay Territory of Australia, on the southern coast of Jervis Bay, approximately 200 km south of Sydney that is noted for its white sand beaches. Booderee NP is extremely popular with campers, and its numerous campgrounds are often booked out months in advance.
The Behwere Peninsula bordering Jervis Bay ends at Governors Head, and is mainly taken up with the Booderee National Park (formerly Jervis Bay NP), accessible by road. (Booderee is an Aboriginal word from the Dhurga language meaning 'bay of plenty' or 'plenty of fish'.) The former Jervis Bay National Park had been formed from the Jervis Bay Territory itself annexed in 1915 to provide a sea port as part of the Australian Capital Territory.
