Bobby Franks

Bobby Franks(1910 or 1909-1924) was the son of Chicago millionaire Jacob Franks. He was murdered at the age of 14 by the infamous Leopold and Loeb. His corpse was left in a drainage pipe at Wolf Lake, around 20 miles south of Chicago. Leopold and Loeb received a life sentence for the murder and 99 years for the kidnapping. Loeb was murdered in prison, but Leopold was paroled in 1958. The two had no real motive for the crime and murdered Bobby Franks because they seemed to think that the crime was perfect. The victim was not chosen until the day of the murder.
