Big Wheel Recreation Records is an independent Boston record label. It was formed in the fall of 1994, by Rama Mayo, who was busy with school at Northeastern University, Boston at the time. It is still only run by one person. It started as Mayo's hobby, but became a fully working record label in 1999. It is now one of the fastest growing independent labels in the record industry.
