Big Water is a town located in Kane County, Utah. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 417, a modest increase over the 1990 figure of 326.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 15.7 km² (6.1 mi²). 15.7 km² (6.1 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 417 people, 171 households, and 117 families residing in the town. The population density is 26.5/km² (68.7/mi²). There are 264 housing units at an average density of 16.8/km² (43.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 94.00% White, 0.00% African American, 2.88% Native American, 0.24% Asian, 0.48% Pacific Islander, 1.20% from other races, and 1.20% from two or more races. 5.28% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 171 households out of which 32.2% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.6% are married couples living together, 12.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 31.0% are non-families. 26.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 5.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.44 and the average family size is 2.97.
