The Beretta 92D is simply a Beretta 92FS that is double-action only. There is no safety on this pistol and it handles similar to a double-action revolver, with a long trigger pull for every shoot. It was designed for police use.
The Beretta 92DS has a safety added to its slide but is otherwise the same thing then the Beretta 92D. It was also designed for police use.
