Battle of Cassel

There have been two battles at Cassel.
The Battle of Cassel was fought in August 1328 by the king of France against the peasant revolt in Flanders. It decisively brought the revolt to an end.
The Battle of Cassel was fought on April 11, 1677, and resulted in a French victory under Philippe I of Orléans against the Dutch under Willem III of Orange, stadholder of the Netherlands and king of Great Britain.
