Basilique de Saint-Denis is a one of the Paris Métro stations, located in the centertown of Saint-Denis, northern of Paris.
History
- The station opened in 1976 at the same time than the union of lines 13 et 14. It desserves the center of Saint-Denis and links the city with Paris in a few minutes.
Tourism
- Saint-Denis city hall.
- Saint-Denis basilica, cathedral built during the 12th century, one of the first in the gothic art and Kings of France's necropol.
- The house of honor of the Légion d'honneur and its park.
- Near one of the two tramway station, there is universitary schools, one for technological formation, the other for teacher's formation.
- This part of town is a dense group of residential buildings, including shops and a commercial center.
