Barbara Abney-Hastings, 13th Countess of Loudoun

Barbara Huddleston Abney-Hastings, 13th Countess of Loudoun (1919-2002) succeeded to the Earldom of Loudoun in 1960. She married three times, and lived in Ashby-de-la-Zouch in Leicestershire, England. She was a member of the House of Lords until 1999 when the right of hereditary peers to sit in the Lords was abolished, and was a cross-bencher, concerned with social justice.
When she died, she was succeeded by her son, Michael Hastings, 14th Earl of Loudoun.
