Headgear
A balmoral, named for the Scottish village and castle, is also an unbrimmed cap consisting of a band, a loose crown, and a short length of exposed ribbon. It may or may not incorporate a pom. It is occasionally seen in Commonwealth military and naval uniforms as well as Scottish ceremonial dress, and also in traditional images of Donald Duck.
